Unique Group, one of the world’s most prominent integrated subsea and offshore solution providers, through it's Diving & Life Support division, is currently offering state-of-the-art 18-MAN Hyperbaric Rescue Facility (HRF) on hire from our Houston facility. Manufactured by the division's Hydra brand, the system is compact and well-engineered, providing reliability throughout all systems.

The system has been designed by highly specialised engineers at Unique Group with full compliance to IMCA D053 standards for safe and effective diving operations.

Ian Huggins, Director of Unique Group’s Diving & Life Support division commented, “Our Hydra brand is world renowned for its diving equipment and the 18-Man Triple Lock system is testimonial to the kind of reliable and unparalleled HRF systems we've amassed over the years. The system is beneficial in the sense that a diving client has a shore based facility available should the need arise for launch and recovery of a hyperbaric evacuation. The facility, in coordination with a contingency plan, provides the divers with an opportunity of survival and a controlled decompression once they are transferred into the system, thereby making it one of the most preferred systems available in the market."

The triple-lock chamber, frame and support container are designed and built to ensure safe manned diving up to 300 meters’ sea water depth with:

  • Lock 1 with 4 berths and 6 seated
  • Lock 2 with 4 berths and 4 seated
  • SPHL reception facilities- SPHL landing frame, SMS spools and clamp
  • HRF Life Support Container – housed in a 20-foot standard freight container with a partition. The machinery side is fitted with two ECUs and potable water. The LSS side with LSS gas panels and electrical systems

As an independently owned global company, Unique Group leads the way in providing engineering expertise, sales and rental equipment and the latest technology for the diving, marine, survey, pipeline and subsea market sectors.

The Diving & Life Support division is a specialist division focusing on the design, build and installation of commercial and military diving equipment.
