About the Role
Unique Group is currently seeking to hire a Proposals/Cost Engineer.
Job Description
- To coordinate proposals entering the organization through the sales and engineering teams.
- Attend trade shows and customer meetings where required.
- Organize and document all in-coming enquires and work alongside cost engineering, sales, engineering and supply.chain to deliver winning proposals.
- Manage costs and ensure best profit is made on every project.
- Achieve EBITDA targets.
- Provide technical and commercial support to the commercial team.
- Increase conversion rates.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
- Mechanical engineering degree or trade background.
- Organized and experienced with Microsoft packages.
- Ability to multi task and log data.
- Past experience with back deck equipment, specifically LARS
