Job Role:

We are searching for a well-organised, reliable Electronics Service Technician to join our Singapore office! The Electronics Service Technician's responsibilities include diagnosing and trouble shooting, reading manuals and installing new equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting with electronic upgrades, and reporting to the Survey Engineer/Operation Manager. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering services and technical support for client /Unique Group-owned equipment
  • Upgradation of survey equipment
  • Repair & maintenance of survey equipment of workshop
  • Undertaking the mobilisation and demobilisation of all the equipment
  • Undertaking the Onsite/Offshore job execution of Survey
  • Coordinate and assist Sales and Logistics Divisions in equipment movement
  • Servicing of third-party equipment with the help of engineers
  • Provide training to junior technicians or trainees
  • Ensure accuracy of survey & marine inventory data in D365
  • Maintain and audit physical stock of workshop
  • Performing splicing & molding activities in Workshop
  • Follow the job cards provided by Technical Manager
  • Compile service report and follow-up of service
  • Update data in D365 related to DN/ GRN and documentation as required
  • Undertake site visits for inspection, installation and service support
  • Coordinate and provide technical support to the sales team
  • Carry out any task requested in the capability of Service Engineer
  • Prepare & submit necessary reports in a timely manner
  • Other jobs as requested by Unique Group Senior Management regionally and the company for smooth operation of the business
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar line and industry
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written (business language)
  • Conversant with MS office tools like M.S Word, M.S Excel, and M.S Powerpoint, D365 System etc
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
