Responsibilities: 

  • Install PC’s according to company standards
  • Solve hardware and software problems for user PCs
  • Roll out anti-malware protection to every PC and server
  • Ensure that the IT-environment, servers and network, is running smoothly
  • Ensure that the telephone system is operating optimally
  • Support users with hardware and software issues
  • Set up a rights system, so that data can only by accessed by authorised people
  • Ensure that a security system is in place so that only authorised people can access the IT environment
  • Create and maintain a logon policy for users to set the appropriate rights
  • Make sure that data integrity on the systems is ensured
  • Prevent malware from entering the company
  • Develop and maintain work instructions according to ICT policies

 

Skills Required: 

  • Degree in any discipline
  • 3+ years of total IT experience
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organisation. Technical Skills / Technical Environment
  • An MCSE certification or the equivalent in experience
  • Experience with network and server environments
  • Possess good communicative skills in English i.e. should have the ability to write and speak clearly and succinctly, and to demonstrate this in all official communications
  • Conversant with MS office tools like M.S Word, M.S Excel, M.S Power Point
