Description: 

  • Responsible for entire execution of assigned projects from documentation to till final invoicing
  • Visit site and liaise with clients for job specific requirements
  • Provide technical assistance to Customer Services, Manufacturing and/or subcontract sources when called upon, providing acceptable solutions within the scope of the project / product requirements such as cost, codes and specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of project specific documents such as risk evaluation, job execution procedures etc., as required
  • Assist with field surveys as required
  • Compile mobilisation list and coordinate with Operations on deployment requirement for field personnel
  • Assist with preparations for field deployment as required
  • Ensure work is completed within budgeted time
  • Site coordination 
  • Report any unsafe act or unsafe condition; stop and challenge any work that is considered unsafe
  • Identify and initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in processes or systems
  • In conjunction with relevant Team Lead, arrange logistics of manpower and equipment to / from customer sites in line with job requirements
  • Preparation of Daily Progress Report, ensuring information is accurate and current
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project participants, liaise with client officials for technical clarifications, manpower mobilisation plan, and HSE requirements
  • Assure project execution in the most economical and financial way
  • Manage customer expectations relative to the job scope, scope changes, work execution and invoicing 
  • Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all deliverables are fit for purpose 
  • Monitor contractors’ progress and performance during projects
  • Meet all compliance required at site

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Possess a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1- 2 years’ experience in Pipeline projects in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Knowledge of On-Site Engineering, Fabrication and Welding desired
  • Possess good communication skills 
  • Conversant with MS office tools like M.S Word, M.S Excel, M.S Project
