Responsibilities:

• Lead designers in the design of pressure vessels
• Develop concept designs of pressure vessels to facilitate proposals and perform budget costings
• Perform the structural analysis
• Produce CAD models and layout drawings
• Checking drawings, calculations & reports
• Applying relevant codes such as ASME, ABS, DNV, LRS, IMCA, IMO, etc
• Detailed calculations using first principles and/or analysis such as pressure vessel software
• Liaise with 3rd parties and address technical and project issues

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 7 years dedicated experience in pressure vessel design with ASME VIII Division 1 and 2, PD 5500 and EN13445 which includes design and analysis using PV Elite and Solid works
• 5 years dedicated experience in finite element analysis according to ASME VIII div 2, part 5
• 4 years’ experience in pressure vessel fabrication in exotic materials
• High level of technical competency in the fundamentals of mechanical engineering design and analysis
• Hands-on experience in assembly and operation of high-pressure machines and pressure vessels
• Superior understanding and applying relevant codes such as ASME, ABS, DNV, LRS, IMCA, IMO, etc
• Valid Driver’s license
