Proposals Engineer

Unique Group is currently seeking to hire a Proposals/Cost Engineer.

Job Description

Support ongoing survey rental equipment preparation to a high level of quality & assist with promotion of the group USV offering (via demos, etc.) in the region.   Providing high quality equipment and technical support to clients. Maintaining and contributing to the improvement of highest standards of safety, ensuring adherence to Company HSE Policies at all times

• To coordinate proposals entering the organization through the sales and engineering teams.
• Attend trade shows and customer meetings where required.
• Organize and document all in-coming enquires and work alongside cost engineering, sales, engineering and supply.chain to deliver winning proposals.
• Manage costs and ensure best profit is made on every project.
• Achieve EBITDA targets.
• Provide technical and commercial support to the commercial team.
• Increase conversion rates.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• Mechanical engineering degree or trade background.
• Organized and experienced with Microsoft packages.
• Ability to multi task and log data.
• Past experience with back deck equipment, specifically LARS
