Job Purpose
The role of a Logistics Warehouse Coordinator is the heartbeat of a supply chain. It’s a high-energy position that requires a mix of physical oversight and digital precision. Essentially, you are the person who ensures that goods don’t just sit in a building but move efficiently from a truck to a shelf and back out to a customer.

Degree of Discretion/Scope of Responsibility:
Core Responsibilities
A Logistics Warehouse Coordinator balances “floor time” with “desk time” to keep operations seamless.
- Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Inbound/Outbound Coordination: Scheduling dock times for carriers, verifying bills of lading, and ensuring shipments are loaded correctly.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining logs for safety regulations, shipping manifests, and customs documents for international freight.
- Quality Control: Inspecting incoming goods for damage and ensuring that outgoing orders meet customer specifications.
- Workflow Optimization: Organizing the warehouse layout to improve “pick paths” and reduce the time it takes to process an order.
- Inspection & Certification: On occasions during busy periods, help Workshop Technicians with the inspection & certification of Water Weights & Buoyancy bags.
- Further Support: Support Unique BV as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

Warehouse and logistics Planning and coordination
- Assist in maintain accurate service and inspection records in line with Dutch lifting legislation (NEN‑EN standards / Warenwetbesluit).
- Inventory management.
- Inbound & outbound coordination

- Able to perform logistical administrative duties, utilizing D365.

Workshop Operations & Housekeeping
- Support daily workshop operations, stock control and equipment storage procedures.
- Ensure safe, clean and well‑organised workshop and storage facilities at all times.
- Assist Depot / Workshop Manager with operational tasks as required.

Compliance, Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental
- Work strictly in compliance with Dutch health, safety and environmental legislation (Arbeidsomstandighedenwet, CE‑requirements, NEN standards).
- Follow all company QHSSE policies and the Integrated Management System.
- Exercise “STOP Work Authority” immediately if any unsafe conditions or deviations are identified.
- Participate in toolbox talks, incident reporting, hazard identification and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Qualifications & Licenses
Mandatory / Ideal
- MBO Level 3 qualification (e.g. Logistics, supply chain, administration).
- Valid Dutch Forklift Certificate (Heftruckcertificaat). Not a necessity, Training can be provided.
- Overhead Crane Operation Certificate (Certificaat Bovenloopkraan) – preferred; training can be provided.
Experience Requirements
- Desire to learn all aspects of the workshop
- Experience or willingness to learn all aspects of the logistical and supply chain process.
- Partake in inspection and certification process and work to defined methods.
- Understanding of QHSE principles and risk‑based work practices.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Intermediate Microsoft & Office D365 knowledge.
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Logistics experience or background.
- First Responder Trained. Training can be provided.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in workshop settings, storage facilities
- Lifting and manual handling in accordance with Dutch occupational safety standards.
- Occasional travel within the Netherlands
