Job Responsibilities:
About the job
- Ensure the quality process control and implementation within diving department.
- Ensure product & Project Quality Control Co-ordination.
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error and determining levels of confidence.
- Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensures products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
- Brainstorms ideas to create solutions for identified problems.
- Ensure the compliance and quality control of the product as per standard and client requirement.
- Vendor project management.
- Vendor Projects Quality inspection and co-ordination
- Co-ordination with third parties and class agencies for inspections and Certification
- Documentation and record control- such as Work instructions, Product Quality Documentations,
- Customer Support on documentations.
- Dive System Auditing.
- Business process auditing.
- FAIR (NCR) corrective action and auditing.
- Competency assessment.
- ITP, FAT preparation and Inspection on project.
QHSSE Activities
- All activities must be executed in accordance with company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance to the company’s ISO accreditation.
- Adhere to departmental & interdepartmental business processes.
- The employee shall adhere to all company Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and work standards.
- The employee has the AUTHORITY to STOP WORK should an unsafe act or condition be observed to ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and to achieve a ZERO HARM working environment.
- There is an obligation on the employee to report such observations and interventions to the HSE Manager or Management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus at least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Management environment in similar role.
- DIVING System IMCA Design auditor. (Strongly advantageous)
Further requirements:
- Certified ISO Internal Auditor
- Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative, collaborative environment is essential.
- ISO Internal Auditor
- Knowledge in Industrial Standards Such as IMCA, ASME, AWS, API
- Knowledge in Classification Rules such as ABS, DNV, Lloyds BV Etc.,
- Advanced proficiency in full MS Office suit
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
