At Unique Group, we believe that true impact comes from collective action — and this Ramadan, we put that belief into motion through a meaningful partnership with Thrift for Good, a UAE-based social enterprise that rehomes preloved items to support children’s causes across the globe.
As part of our Donation Drive, employees from across our offices came together to donate clothes, shoes and other essentials for children aged 0–18. The initiative was a chance to embrace sustainability, reduce waste and give back — all while supporting vulnerable children in need.
The Spirit of Ramadan Meets the Power of Community
Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity and compassion. It provided the perfect backdrop for a company-wide drive focused on community contribution and social responsibility. Whether it was a pair of shoes or a warm winter coat, every item carried with it the hope of making someone’s life a little brighter.
Thanks to the generosity of our team, we collected 235 items — a contribution that directly translates into covering healthcare, food, and education for two children for an entire year.
Thrift for Good’s work goes beyond rehoming items — proceeds from our donations supported Project Nepal, an initiative that helps rescue children from entering the sex trade and provides them with a safe haven, upgraded facilities and a future filled with hope.
