Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Ballast and Buoyancy Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities, focusing on developing strong customer relationships, expanding market reach, and ensuring effective management of both rental and purchase opportunities. It also emphasizes a customer-centric approach, supporting strategic growth through consistent engagement and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive rental and purchase sales for Seaflex, Crane Master, and JCM products across the GCC region, aligning with divisional targets.
- Lead the mobilization and demobilization of rental assets, ensuring timely deployment and return for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Serve as the technical lead for solutions involving heavy crane testing, underwater lifting, and subsea pipe and cable laying operations.
- Prepare and present competitive rental and purchase proposals tailored to Ballast & Buoyancy (B&B) project requirements.
- Define pricing strategies for rental and purchase offerings based on market trends and client expectations.
- Manage the inventory and operational readiness of Seaflex rental assets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to support business growth and respond to market dynamics.
- Collaborate with Seaflex UK for both technical clarifications and commercial alignments on international projects.
- Work closely with the finance team to monitor receivables and ensure timely payment collections.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to guarantee accurate and timely delivery of equipment.
- Liaise with the Customer Service Department to ensure seamless delivery and support for rental units.
- Plan and conduct technical and commercial meetings with clients to promote B&B solutions.
- Analyze client requirements and provide tailored technical solutions that meet project needs.
- Track and report on sales performance against B&B targets, adjusting strategy as required to exceed goals.
- Foster strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Maintain and grow key accounts by ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Prior experience in similar industries such as oil & gas, marine, subsea, offshore engineering, or industrial equipment sales is highly preferred.
- Strong track record in developing and executing sales strategies, with a focus on technical product sales.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Highly motivated, dynamic, and self-driven individual with a proactive approach to business development.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative team player capable of contributing to cross-functional teams and driving collective success.
