Target Contaminants & Removal Capability
PureAir 4 is formulated to target a range of gaseous contaminants through adsorption, absorption and oxidation using potassium permanganate-impregnated activated alumina.
Manufacturer-Reported Removal Capability
- Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S): 0.07 g/cm³ minimum (8.0% by weight)
- Sulfur Dioxide (SO₂): 4.0% by weight
- Nitric Oxide (NO): 2.85% by weight
- Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂): 10% by weight
- Formaldehyde: 1.4% by weight
These figures describe the manufacturer’s reported removal capability and should not be interpreted as percentage removal efficiency.
Media suitability and performance depend on the intended filtration application and operating conditions.
