Specialised Boats

Oceanwide S.a.S, the proven market leader in the design, construction and maintenance of self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboats and specialised offshore boats, is an integral part of Unique Group’s Specialised Boats division.

The division, though Oceanwide S.a.S, provides custom and turnkey speciality boats with expert repair and maintenance services to the commercial oil and gas sector, the diving industry and offshore vessel market.

Logistically, we possess the skills and resources to perform specialist repairs to all types of hyperbaric lifeboats, rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) and specialised offshore boats. We provide this service through our primary production facility and workshop in Rotterdam, and our global network of Unique Group manufacturing and service departments across all major oil and gas hubs.

Oceanwide S.a.S’s 14-year track record includes the build of over 150 lifeboats - 74 of which are Self-Propelled Hyperbaric Lifeboats (SPHL). Our lifeboats and specialised offshore boats are built to Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) regulations.

Hyperbaric Lifeboats

Our portfolio ranges from self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboats (SPHLs) and totally enclosed lifeboats (TELBs).

Specialised Offshore Boats

Our portfolio ranges from fast diving support craft (FDSCs), Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), Diving Daughter Craft and boat deployment and recovery davits.

IRM (Inspection, Repair & Maintenance)

We have the skills to perform inspections and maintenance on any type of hyperbaric lifeboat. Our qualified and experienced engineers can operate both offshore and onshore, according to your specific requirements. A full inspection and maintenance review, including the davits and hooks, can be undertaken if required.

Located at the Maashaven in the heart of Rotterdam, our 1500m² production facility and workshop can accommodate any major repairs or maintenance programme.
