(FESA) or Fully Enclosed Single Attachment Bags - For Lift & Tow Operations

Seaflex has designed, developed and manufactured a Fully Enclosed Single Attachment (FESA) variable buoyancy system, for operations which involve elements of both lifting and towing or where there's a requirement to drop and catch a structure midwater.

The FESA unit is an enclosed type of ALB up to 35t capacity, employing a comprehensive air dumping system. It makes use of multiple PRVs, each capable of venting air at more than 2 cubic metres per minute. It's ideally suited to operations where the operating angle of an ALB could result in air escaping from its open-ended base.
