EdgeTech 701 DL & STARMUX III: Transceivers

Availability: Rental

Unique Group offers the EdgeTech 701 Digital Link (DL) and STARMUX III side scan transceivers, which can be used with our comprehensive range of EdgeTech 4200, 4205 side scan systems as well as the 2000 DSS, 2050 DSS and 2300 combined side scan and sub bottom profilers.

701 DL can supply sufficient power for an EdgeTech 4205 and a single piggybacked Geometrics G-882 magnetometer.

For applications requiring increased power such as the 2000 DSS combined side scan and sub bottom profiler, or the 4205 with a piggyback G-882 gradiometer, a STARMUX III can be used.

Sea Cable interface within these transceivers will automatically switch off power to the tow vehicle should the processor be disconnected from the tow vehicle for an extended period.

ADSL Telemetry from the tow fish is decoded by a modem and data is then made available on the ethernet port.

701 DL size (with 2U-SKB case): 15.75cm high, 56.90 cm wide, 60.96 cm deep.

701 DL size (rack mount): 17.8 cm high, 43.2 cm wide, 45.7 cm deep.

701 DL input power: ~ 120 W.
