- Seaflex waterbags now stocked in Henderson and Karratha to service local demand for the testing of cranes, lifeboats, gangways and other load-bearing structures.
- Number of Seaflex rental locations within Australia increases to 4, supplementing the existing bases in Melbourne (Dynamic Rigging) and Queensland (Queensland Lifting Hire).
- Sale of waterbags and convenient local through-life servicing support for the Seaflex ranges of load-testing bags and buoyancy bags is also available from these bases, to customers who prefer to purchase rather than to hire such equipment.
- Seaflex – helping contractors worldwide work more safely, efficiently and profitably since 1987.
As of Q2 2018, the Seaflex brand of Unique Group’s Buoyancy & Ballast division is delighted to welcome Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) of Henderson, WA and Total Lifting & Rigging (TLR) of Karratha to the network of authorised Seaflex sales, rental & service centres and replacing previous arrangements in Western Australia.
Seaflex WaterLoad™ bags and Seaflex-trained service technicians are now deployed in both these locations, to service their local markets for crane, lifeboat and davit testing.
The equipment servicing standard in this location is exactly the same as in all other bases in the Seaflex network. Each and every waterbag will be thoroughly inspected and tested by a trained technician between rentals, so users can be assured that the bags they receive will do the job required of them straight out of the crate, first time, every time.
Alongside offering rental of this equipment, LGH and TLR are also able to offer the sale and subsequent local support of Seaflex waterbags up to the new and market-leading 100t WaterLoad™ bag – as well as the new, low-cost range of Seaflex UniLoad™.
In addition to this, both new partners will be able to undertake first-line servicing and repair work to factory standards on any Seaflex buoyancy bags previously supplied into Western Australia, as well as offering that service to any customers within the region who may rent or purchase Seaflex modules in the future.
Chris Sparrow, Unique Group Buoyancy & Ballast’s Global Sales Manager commented “We are delighted to have Eric and Frank and their teams onboard as part of our ever-expanding worldwide Seaflex network. Both are very familiar with Seaflex, as well as extremely well-known and well-respected within their local markets, the Seaflex product line and business model is a very neat fit with their current range of activities, and we are sure that the presence of Seaflex equipment combined with first-rate back-up will be of significant interest to those involved in the testing of cranes, lifeboats and other load-bearing structures within Western Australia.”
